Overcome Opioids
Opioids have become one of the leading addictions in the United States. The Opioid Epidemic was declared a “Public Health Emergency” by the Trump administration in October 2017 due to the amount of fatal overdoses occurring from opioids. At that time the President’s opioid commission said that about 142 Americans were dying every day from a drug overdose — equal to the death toll from the September 11 attacks every three weeks. Opioid addiction is a serious, and often fatal, condition. It is critical to seek treatment if you or a loved one is experiencing opioid addiction. This series of articles focuses on opioid addiction, recovery and rehabilitation.
